Christmas traditions in England by Sophie Davies

Christmas in England is a lot different to in Japan.

Christmas dinner

For our christmas dinner we have turkey and lots of vegtables. For pudding we either have christmas pudding, christmas cake or mince pies. It is very yummy! I love it!

Advent

Children in england have something called an advent calander. What they do with it is when they usally get home from school is we eat a chocolate each day until christmas day!

Thank you for your time!

Hello! By AM

Welcome to the Rossett School Japanese Club official website and blog! \(^o^)/
Our club is dedicated to all things Japanese!
We make origami!
We cook Japanese food!
We learn Japanese phrases (yay)!
We have also had the chance to get to know some Japanese students from Ishigami Junior High School in our exchange, so you can read more about it in our blog.
Feel free to take a look around the site!

Japanese trip 2013 By SD

As you may know that in February Rossett School will be making a trip to Japan – Tokyo and Kyoto! I am very looking forward to it so then I can meet some of my Japanese friends again! I even have a count down on my phone and in my school homework diary! Is it about 74 days? This trip to Japan or England for either of our schools will be a once in a life time opportunity! I think that this trip will be the greatest memory I will ever have when I do go on the trip and I will keep telling people about it for the rest of my life.

Thank you for your time!

Whats The Date Today Mister Wolf? By TM

Today new students enter our Japanese conversation to learn about numbers and dates! They are doing very well and have worked very hard to remember the numbers from 1-20. We also had an interesting lesson on the traditional music of Japan (Sakura Sakura) and the regular origami for relaxation at the end of the session. Some regular students are off school sick, so we wish them a quick recovery.

Fun times!

Japanese Exchange (日本の交換留学)

We have had a very good time with our Japanese friends, we miss them a lot. Contacts between students have been connected via Email, Facebook and LINE accounts. This is a good thing as Rossett School and Ishigami High School are able to study harder in Japanese and English languages, at the same time with their new Japanese and English friends! The motivation this exchange has given the Rossett students is pushing us harder to learn and speak better! Pen pals will also provide us with a bigger reason to learn Hiragana and Katakana letters! Learning is important for all the Earths students and this experience has increased this learning. Ishigami Students have given a very very good impression of Japan and will grow in popularity for the next years of students. Now our February trip to Japan will be more exciting than ever!

Fun Times!

Fun Times!
